Roughin' it in style

It's almost 9, and I'm at Taryn's house. Taryn and I wanted to campout in her backyard last night, but it started to rain around 7-ish, so Mike (Taryn's step dad) said we couldn't. We decided to set up my tent in living room instead, so right now I'm on her laptop in the tent, Taryn's still sleeping.

I got to talk to Adam last night on AIM, he was on for quite a while 'cus his mom and dad were away and his little brother was sleeping over somewhere. At one point, Adam and I were talking about how we should go camping in the Pisgah forest with some friends, we said we should go July of '06. It was nice to be able to talk to him in some form other than e-mail. What's gonna be really great is in June, when Adam and I can talk on the phone, can't wait! The thing is, I'll be in the Amazon 'till the 7th of June, maybe his mom will let him call me on 28th of May, I leave early in the morning on the 29th.

Today Taryn, me, Ms. Julie (her mom), and Mike are going over to Kathy's for a party thing, Kathy is having a bunch of people that she does business with over (woah, 2 preprositions in a row, Mr. Allman wouldn't behappy, that's not correct grammar, right?), along with their families. It's a cookout/BBQ kinda thing. Taryn's family got a new boat, they're keeping it at Kathy's though, 'cus Taryn doesn't live on a lake. We went yesterday, out on the lake with the boat, we went tubing, my elbows are all sore, the tube rubbed my elbows raw, heh, I can't move them without a teensy bit of pain.
