Mathew 6:25

My mom is all stressed out now too, ugh, she was saying how my dad's probly so stressed that she wouldnt be surprised if he walked out, then she said how she might even. I know she wasn't totally serious, but still, she said it! and then she went on about all the car probs and how my dad's all ticked off about those and how I shouldn't show my dad my wrecked cell 'cus he'll get even more mad, and that my sis is going to a camp that's too much money and I went to Brazil that cost too much. It seems like they don't think about God anymore, I mean, come on, He's got it under control. Yeah, we still need to spend our money more wisely, but money isn't the most important thing, Jesus never had any money really, he didn't even have a his own house!

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? -Mathew 6:25-26

I think I'll print that out and put it on my dad's pillow, maybeit will help. Thankgoodness God's on our side:) My mom used to be so on fire for Jesus, like, you just talked to her and you KNEW she was an awesome Christian, she was such an influence on me when I was a kid, she woudl read me Bible stories and I would always see her having a quiet time in the morning. I think my parents even got along better when she had her quiet times, my dad just recently seemed to have just an awesome leap of growth in his faith, now I never see him having quiet times or anything. I know they're both still Christians and God loves them just as much as he ever did, but idn. Maybe I'm just older, maybe my outlook changed and they didn't. I gotta just trust God and follow Him, I'm so glad he put so many awesome brothers and sisters (in Christ) in my life, I'm so blessed. Taryn, Lauren, Tamra, Warren, Adam, Matt, Meghan, Olivia, and Sasha have been just incredible (and everyone in Brazil).
