Kidsgames (no, not the song!)

Wow, new thingy for blogspot, woohoo for blogger.
*ahem* OK, so tonight, all of my friends and I go to the closing ceremonies for KidsGames that's at the TD Waterhouse, about 2000 kids there. It was fun, lotsa karate, games, some famous Christian basketball player, and pastor Joel was there too.
So the thing ends, it's about 8:45, and Taryn's mom is meeting us at the Bob Carr (us=me, Taryn, Warren), and then she'll take us home. One prob, we have no clue how far away the Bob Carr is (ie, it's right next to the TD Waterhouse). So we go around looking for someone to drive us to the Bob Carr O=). We see Matt, he's one the field (the center floor thing of the TD), so we go try to find him, when we finally get down there, we don't see him, never did find him. So now we're desperatly looking for a highschooler/college kid that we know (from Northland), who could take us to where ever Taryn's mom is, 'cus by now we had checked Taryn's voicemail and found out that Ms Julie wasn't at the Bob Carr and was somewhere else. So we're about to walk out of the whole building (through the back, where the people run onto the floor), when we see Pat, Pat's a lugleader, or used to be, and this yr he's going to start his 1st year at SCC (college).  Luckily, Taryn knows Pat a bit better than me, so she asks him if he'll give us 3 a ride to where ever Taryn's mom is, and he says yes, 'cus he's just so awesome like that. So we all get in his car and call Taryn's mom for directions to where she is. Pat hangs up with her when she's done and pretty much said that he had no clue where he was going, but he tried to follow the directions anyways. So we're in Pat's car, we have oldies on, the music's sorta loud, and we're going round the TD and not finding Taryn's mom, so we go around again, now we're kinda lost in downtown orlando, so Pat goes back to the TD. He pulls into the Down Town Orlando Recreational Center's parking lot, and Taryn calls her mom and tells her mom to meet us there. So we're sitting there, and there's a bunch of african american kids who are in the grass and they start to yell at us, so we drive to the otherside and Pat gets bored so he decides to "check the breaks", it was entertaing for a bit, but I'm sure the people in the grass were wondering what on earth we were doing in the parking lot at 9:20pm (that's what time it is by now). After going in circles and stuff and driving by the people a few times, Taryn's mom shows up and we thank Pat for helping us find her, then Ms Julie takes me to my house and drops me off (and Warren at his house).
Tonight I found out that my family is going up to NC Wednesday-Saturday, I'm really looking forward to it. And I got the most inspirational e-mail from Matt (Matt in canada, that I met in Brazil), I talked to him about trusting God and Cayla's anorexia, he's so cool, ya gotta luv 'im.
