I've got the world on a string

ok, since you're my journal and all, I thought it only fair to tell you about me wanting to go and see Adam. Adam and I were talking abotu a week ago and found out that I'm off (and so is he) on Feb 21. So we thought it would be neat if I went up for a 3 day weekend; I've only met him once before (at Lyd's house, for 2 hours). He has to ask him mom though, he hasn't yet. I would go up and visit him, I'd have to pay for my ticket out of my allowance. My mom said so far it's a "yes", but she wants to talk to Adam's mom and some people who knew Adam when he lived down here (in Fl). My mom has never even talked to/seen Adam. I hope I can go, it will cost around $500 for a plane ticket and I'll probly have to find a jacket. It's Calgary (Canada!), in the winter! I'll freeze my floridian feet off up there! He said if I come up that he might make some of his famous fudge, hoorah.
If his mom says no though, it's alright, maybe it's just not meant to be (yet;P), you know? I'll try not to be dissapointed if it's a no, but if it is a no, it's not like I lost anything I had in the process. Like that saying that's something like "how can you lose what you never really had?".
