(We are the movers and shakers
of this world
We are the music makers)
I was in my hammock tonight, about to fall asleep, when I thought about Amber, a girl on AIM (my friend's sis), and she had been telling me about her "passion", history. And I thought about it, and I think mine is Singing/Music. I just feel so alive when I'm singing a good, emotional piece of music. Almost like every fiber of my being is about to just melt/explode into musical notes and sounds, like I'm 'this close' to being of the music, consumed by it. I feel free when I sing it, like time stops and it's just me and lots of individual sounds that smoothly flow together. I love the feeling, I just enter into another world altogether, I feel different, think different, nothing is the same. There are no problems, no worries, I open my mouth and it just comes, I don't even have to think about it.
"Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
