Solo in Chorus

So today the Lyman Chorus is going to Epcot to sing at Candlelight, and I'm in the chorus, therefore I have to go. I don't really want to because of the fact that I have to miss Aerobics and get a 0 for the day, not go to voice lessons, and miss the Christmas party for my o2 home group:(. But after much pestering of Novie, hehe, I have a make-up lessons directly after work on Saturday (before LugROX). I hope I'm not late, I supposedly get off work at 5:30, but normally get out at 6 (my lesson is at 6). I'm going to finish my CD Saturday night.
I found out Monday that I have a solo in the chorus concert that's on the 16th. I'm gonna sing "danza,danza" because Ididn't get to sing it at the recital because I missed the recital. I'm really nervous to be singing at school. But I like highschool a lot better than middleschool. People don't judge you as much it seems like. I mean, they don't care as much about what you do and if it's weird or "cool". So everyone tellsme that no one cares if I'll be singing an Italian song and that whatever you want to do, people just accept it and say "goodjob", haha. I hope that view on highschool doesn't change as I get older (or, I hope it;s true).
Progress report cards came out last Friday, I have all A's, it's amazing! I hope I can keep it up all year. I haven't made all A's for a whole year since 2nd grade.
