I finished early today in BST:). So now I'm going to tell you allllll about my English class (1st period, right before this).
At my school, in order to get reading scores (on standardized tests) up, they make us read a book (we choose it from a specific list they make) for the 1st twenty minutes of each class. I "forgot" my book today in English 'cus I couldn't get my locker open. When Ms. Brittain asked me where my book was, I told her my locker. She wrote me a referral (a trip the to Dean's office/discipline).
So Warren is quietly snickering at me because I'm getting my 1st referral/demerit thingy. I've never gotten in trouble before; the worst I've gotten is a silent lunch in 3rd grade. I was fine with it though, because I knew that office people despise Ms. Brittain. And besides, you're not supposed to get written up for not having your book 'till the 3rd time.
The lady at the discipline office thought it was hilarious that it was my 1st time in discipline and it was because I couldn't open my locker. So she sent me to the front office and had one of the ladies open my locker for me so I could get my book. After that, I had to go back to the discipline office and get the Dean to sign my referral. He was like "I thought I told her she can't send kids up here anymore for these ARs..." and the office lady said "She's not supposed to send them up till the 3RD time!"
Then I went back to class; the whole rest of the period (it's a 2 hour period) she kept randomly saying "I'm disappointed in you, Amy". For example, I was talking to Warren because we weren't doing anything, and she goes "Amy, I'm disappointed in you...". She must have said it atleast 5 times just randomly.
