Letter to Jaime

A Letter To Jaime, the kid from Spanish camp that didn't think guitars and drums should mix with church.
Hi,I'm so glad to hear from you.
I'm on fall break right now, so not many worries (though I can't say how I'll feel when Monday comes around...). I saw Flightplan and The Corpse Bride this week. Corpse Bride was good, but Flightplan was kind of annoying, hehe.

To change the subject to what you were talking about in your letter about challenges in your life:
Man, you're dealing with some tough issues. Really explore it, but don't fool yourself because you're unsure -if you do that, you'll never know the truth.

I've been in a similar position actually. About a year ago I wasn't sure about my sexual orientation, my spiritual beliefs, my future, or anything for that matter. I couldn't have even told you what kind of music I liked.

As for the question about what religion God favors, if he favors one at all, it depends, 1st of all, on what you're going to choose to believe. As for the God of the Bible, it doesn't matter what religion you're affiliated with, as long as your believe/accept that Jesus died for your sins, and have a personal relationship with Him.

I don't know how much you've gotten to know God, but I know I've barely even met him and He's amazing. Seriously, I feel like Im falling in love wtih him. That may sound weird to you, but it's the only way I can explain it.If you're exploring what you're options are about religions already, know this: God isn't afraid of what you'll find out. Do the research, look at what religions say, read books on it from experts, etc.

As for your future/college, do you know what you want to do? Maybe you could take one of those placement tests. The really good ones cost around $400, but they're amazingly accurate at picking jobs that you'll enjoy. My mom's going to let me take one this year.
I have to go now, my friends just got here and we're going to watch a movie.
Have a wonderful day.
Write back soon,
Amy/Ada Lesperance
