Just got home last night from an amazing adventure.
Sara and I met up with this girl (Rebecca) at the airport and then went to Cornerstone together to meet up with the kids Sara knows through some message boards. We camped with them for the week. It was so fun. They all really like ska, so our camp was named "We <8 Ska". We joked that we didn't eat ska, we just nibbled on it. I still don't really get it, haha, but oh well. Melissa made the sign, so maybe that's why I don't get it.
I saw so many bands that I can't even begin to name them all. Mute Math, as always, was amazing. MXPX was everything I thought they would/should/could be. Family Force 5 had a great show. Anberlin was really fun. Bryce Avery (the rocket summer) was so nice to talk to. I even got a pic with Leigh Nash.
The roper kids (blake, Melissa, Ben, Corey, Ed, Katie) were really nice. Blake cooked for us (yay for the chef). Corey and Melissa want to get married at C-stone next year -that would be neat and really fitting to their personalities, hehe.
