Ok, so last year I vowed that I would never have another northland homecoming. But tonight, I was talking about this *gorgeous* dress I saw on the avenue -and have been wanting for a few months now- and some people (taryn, senny, rachel) started asking when i was going to have my homecoming this year. So I explained to them that a lot of people complained about it and it was kind of humiliating to me, so I wasn't going to have one. But, they all said they had been looking forward to it, and I really like them.
So, I think I'm going to have one this year :-). I hope my mom will say yes.
It's just going to be the usual: finger foods, a movie (A Goofy Movie), the annual walk-around-the-block, fancy clothes, maybe some music (but no dancing really... that's kinda awkward...). Maybe we'll, yes, boardgames, haha, I'm such a loser. Or Catch Phrase if fun :-).
I think, as hostess, I shall wear my pink Ralph Lauren dress that I got on my way back from Furman this summer :-).

Like, a bunch (20+) of my friends and I just hang out in fancy clothes, watch movies, talk, walk around the block, and be silly -oh, and we eat too.
It's a nice alternative to booty dancing.
