Mothers+Pink= :-/
I feel like my mom is mad at me for my hair and thinks it was a major mistake. I like it still. I mean, yeah, it's not exactly what you think of when you think of a poster-child, but it's not as bad as she is making it seem. It got even worse after she called Carmen to take the pink out of my hair in January (so that I can participate in Novie's recital). It's coming out January 25th, 3pm. It's like Carmen convinced her that I ruined my life by getting pink highlights. Thanks Carmen >:-/ .

Ahmi, darling, the best advice I can give you as a frequent and once upon a time radical hair dyer is this:
You dyed your hair because you wanted to. No matter how much a person means to you, its your hair to like. No one else matters in this equation. Having pink hair isn't the huge deal everyone is making it out to be.
Afterall, it's just hair.
But if you want encouraging words from an outside source, even though they shouldn't matter, here it is. The hair is totally you and anyone who can't see that is blind. No, not because it's 'z0mg, party time!' hair, but because it's fun and bright and friendly, all of which you are. And even if it "wasn't you" what does it matter? Looks account for little, and anyone who gets too caught up in your hair isn't worth the time to worry about.
I know you love your mom, but I think that if she has a problem with it she's wrong.
And, for the record, the recital sounds tre boring if no one's going to have pink hair. If you're good, that stuff shouldn't matter.
