Sunrirse w/ God

In case anyone was wondering what I did for my 17th birthday, here it is:

Woke up at 5:15am, picked Alex up at 5:30am, then got to the beach at bout 7am.
I was going to watch the sunrise while I did my quiet time (pray, read the Bible, listen to worship music), but it was cloudy and my ipod decided to somehow erase all the songs on there. It was nice though. The sun shone through the clouds beautifully and the birds playing in the waves made me smile. I read the Christmas story from the book of Luke while Alec sketched the shore.
Afterwards, Alec and I went to the local bakery, but it wasn't open 'till 8, so we went through the McDonald's drive through and then went back to the bakery for some tea for me, coffee for him, 2 croissants (one for us to share, one for my mother). We got back home around 10:30am because there was a car wreck blocking the road, but it wasn't annoying because we talked, laughed, and listened to music while we were stuck in the traffic).
Once home, I cleaned the house for my mom, read a bit of a book for school, answered the discussion questions on the book, washed and waxed my car, then went running. At 6pm I went to Park Ave and oversaw some crafts for little kids that Fairy Tales was running (got $20 for 2 hours of work) -I got Mason and Kara to come help and get paid too. Then afterwards, Mason and Kara and I got some pizza and watched The Muppets Christmas Carol at my house.
It was a good, productive day and I liked it.
